My '89 LX is out of the shop, almost ready for NMRA BMP
Some of you know that my '89 LX is a long-term project car for 5.0 Mustang Magazine. Anyway, it's been apart for three years for a total overhaul, but I picked it up at MPR Racing Engines last night and it's pretty much ready to go. I have a couple of very minor items to tie up, but it runs and drives and it's been tuned. I'm hoping to race it in True Street at NMRA Bradenton in March.
Here's a video of me pulling it onto the trailer last night:
Sick sounds coming from that Fox! Knowing how you guys operate, thats going to be one quick ride.
Thanks guys. I've gotten pretty jaded in my old age. I have an idea of what it should run, but I'm not getting my hopes up until it runs the number.

I just realized I skipped over the numbers part of your post. It recently made 967rwtq but it needed a torque converter change, so we swapped it out and the car could post up some bigger numbers. I need to take care of a couple of items before I put it back on the dyno, but I think we should still be able to race it at NMRA Bradenton in March.
