Now that's what I call a slow Monday
It's nice to be back. Finally finished up my car this past Friday but didn't take it out until today. I drove the car to work today and gave several rides to friends. After I got off work I was on my way to a friends house and I see a beautiful 69 Camaro pass by me in the other lane while I was sitting at the light. The license plate read "I DARE U" and I could hear a whistle. I end up getting a few short bursts in but on regular streets I would pretty much just spin like crazy. Finally got him to get on the highway to do a few pulls from 50ish. I drop it down to 3rd and count with my fingers to 3. I start spinning a little as I got into it but held pretty even then I go to shift into 4th but can't get it to go in. We did 2 more runs this time they were clean and from 3rd I pull just barely shift into 4th and really start pulling hard. I let off around 130mph up about 3 cars. 2nd run was the same result. We pull over and I find out its a 404ci motor with a Paxton supercharger running 11psi making 580rwhp. Not bad for my first kill with the new setup.
After I go and hang out with my friends and we go out for a drive. We stop at a gas station and see a few guys with some bikes. I ask one of the guys what cc his bike is and he tells me it's a Yamaha R1. (I believe he said it was an r1 but I'm pretty sure it was an R6) I ask him if he is willing to run and his response is "what all is done to your car?" i tell him and he resonds with "I'll take you but sure." My 2 friends hop in the car with me and we hit the highway. Slow down to 50mph and honk it off. I nail it in 3rd and immediately start pulling, shift to 4th and run it out to about 6k and let off around 130 up by 3 cars. We slow down for one more run and this time he takes the hit. He jumps out by about a car in a half and I get on it and stop his pull. By the top of 3rd I was even with him I shift into 4th and put a car and a half on him and then shut down.
We are then on our way back and we run into a Nissan GTR that is bolt ons and e85 but he didn't have time for some runs so we pulled over and talked for a few minutes and exchanged phone numbers for a future run.
P.S. all of these runs were on low boost which is 640rwhp
