Default took down a 335i

was heading back from the beach and came across a new 335i coupe. He was moving pretty quick, so I hopped in behind him and we were cruising for a few minutes. He finally slowed down enough, around 70mph and I got next to him on the hwy. I popped a rev then downshifted, he punched it and I followed suit.
I had about half a length on him at the end of third. and had a couple car lengths by the end of 4th.

It was a fun run. Those new beamers are pretty quick.

Sounds like you have a few mods on the GT, those 335's pull pretty strong from a roll. Good kill!!

Good Kill.. Must have been stone stock / started one gear off... I would have expected a close run not a few lengths.

Very nice.

or after dropping a car back he very well could have let off the gas right before I did. It's hard to hear a stock bmw over a full exhaust system. lol

It's a good win. They are fairly quick stock and pick up a ton from simple mods like a tune.

haha yeah I've done that before...when you realize you bit off just a little more than you can handle or its a bad run to start with.

I've met a lot of guys with the 'performance' BMWs that were all cool... especially ///M owners

Yeah, from my experiences, "car guys" that buy bmw's tend to be much cooler than your average schmuck of a BMW owner. But then again, I've met my share of dbag mustang owners too. There are some in every group.
