Default 2011-2013 M6 GT numbers?

Im trying to figure out what kind of number range at the track is considered decent with the bolt on I have.

With steeda cold air and tune at 1/8 mile I did best of 8.34 on ****ty used drag radial, no mph since they do not give papers, it is a street drag night with no glue.

Then I installed AHR longs tube with catted x pipe and a full coilover suspension that is way too stiff atm to make good transfer while launching,
went to the 1/4, made fews run, 12.61, 115mph, 12.81 114 mph (first gear hard spin on launch) and best time of the day was 12.51 116.1mph 60'' 1.98 *1/8=8.23)...does that look fair for a 6 speed manuel

somehow, all the auto with tune run very low 12, like 12.30, 12.20...somehow the auto look faster.. Id definitly need better drag tire cause my 60'' suck ***,
just trying to figure if my time are correct or not.

lets me know, thanks

You're right on par with most everyone else. Most times I see with just bolt-ons are right in the mid 12's so you're right on par. Get some skinnies up front with big o' sticky tire on the back, and you should improve times significantly

I believe it's a driving skill thing. short gears with a high revving engine..pushing it to 7200rpm and not shifting too soon/late has got to be tough. I think that is the reason most autos run faster. I seem to see more automatics making trips to the dragstrips than manuals too.

Guy I know/friend of mine with just a tire, no other mods has the record for a stock M6 at 11.949. I would assume you should be able to get into the 11's pretty easy with your mods and decent air.

Those times seam a little slow to me just going by the trap speed. Your leaving .3-.4 tenths on the table with that 2.0 sixty. So your best of 12.5 could easily be a 12.2-12.1 which would be right in line with your traps just by inproving the sixty. A little suspension and the right tires go a long way.

I think you're ETs will only get better from here on out. Everyone goes to the track with new mods, etc, then jump on here before making another trip to the track and wonder why they didn't run faster. There's a high 11 in that car with the right 60' and decent air, no doubt in my mind. Make a few more passes and see what happens.

Not surprised about those autos running faster. Autos have always been the more consistent cars at the track, and the faster ones when modded right. But at this point in the game there are few manufacturers kicking out manuals that are actually quicker than their automatic counterparts.

^ x2, somehow I'm always agreeing with Stone lol. now that auto's usually have similar ratios/amounts of gears as the manuals, and they're not quite as power robbing as they have been and can shift quicker with just a tune, auto's are going to be faster from here on out than the manuals as far as track times. I just talked to a customer today that dropped his '11 gt for a nitrous install, and he has an auto with full stainless works exhaust, cai, our tune, and a gear and has gotten a few 11.60's.

Your car should deff be in 11's with more seat time man.

I first need to unstiff the coilover, they really ruin the launch, car is too glued and doesnt make the launch transfer properly imo, better tire I agree, and more seat time definitly.

Ill update this on my next trip, going to the suspension shop this week, maybe one last track before winter next week.
