good kill!

I know what you mean about the mach feeling faster. The first time I test drove a 2011 5.0, I drove my old '93 notch to the dealership. My notch was a 12-second car, so about the same as the stock 2011 5.0, but the notch felt faster. I think it's because the Coyote is so smooth.

The 5.0 just feels that way due to refinement. Its a good problem to have!

Oh so it was? Hmm Idk seemed kinda high since I reached 7k so quick, I guess I'm just used to my mach 1.

Thanks!, yup I was just minding my own business.

You know I'm sure that's what it is because these new cars do feel really smooth, sometimes I can't even feel it going through the gears.

True, what a huge difference. I just need exhaust, the silence is killing me.

I know I'm gonna sound like a broken record here, but suspension upgrades help eliminate some of the numbness too.

I have an '06 GT and my friend has an '11 GT. He and I both upgraded to tubular k-members with polyurethane engine mounts and we both had the same initial reaction. "WOW! You can actually FEEL the engine, like you SHOULD in a performance car!"

That's probably more an effect of the polyurethane motor mounts, but still, having poly bushings everywhere on my car does help me feel the car AND the road a little more from the driver's seat. And I like that!

Power Pack at the dealer and they want to do the work$$$ or no warranty: Ford Pro Cal tune, better throttle response not much hp, K&N filter, GT-500 axil backs. Will save your warranty but I said **** it and Bossed/tuned it up. Your choice but mild will keep your low end torc.

Hmm I guess I need to do some suspension work. I took it to immokalee today and man did I do bad. Best I could get was an 8.76 at 84, my friend was watching and said that I was bouncing everywhere.. With those times I kinda miss the mach 1, but I know I can improve a lot since it is my first time with it and I have barely had for like 3 weeks so it only has 1300 miles. 60fts were right at 2.2-2.3..

Ehhh, and how much is that? I kinda don't like the gt500 mufflers seem too quite.

Buddy of mine locally has a 5.0 with an o/r x and GT500 take offs (unsure of year however) and it sounds really good.

I prefer my stock exhaust personally, but his is a really clean sound with a plenty of volume.

I have been trying to find some videos with the x pipe and the gt500 ones but its hard to find any videos with good mics. The stock ones are just way too silent, annoys me a lot. I guess I'm used to my mach which sounded pretty loud and my foxbody that had full exhaust.

Geez, I keep forgetting that you're local. Let me know if you want me to take you for a spin in my car. You can get a feel for what the upgraded suspension feels like.
