I know it's sort of a generic rule, but something that is likely going to struggle with traction *such as a semi-powerful FWD civic* usually requires more trap to ET like that.
Have you been to the strip yourself, or did I miss that somewhere?

He must be hooking up decently then.

Is that a full weight Civic? Good run, but I'm thrown off too by you pulling that hard on a high 13/101 car. Wonder if he was sitting at a high enough RPM when you guys started..
Anyway, not trying to pick apart your run. Just doing what we do around here

He goes all out race gas small slicks and his whole entire car gets gutted! Maybe that made the big difference. But this video he is running full interior street tires reg gas and maybe that coil be the problem

Yes, that would make a BIG difference in his track trim times and his street trim times!!

Oh yea, thats exactly what it is. Most cars are sensitive to those changes, but lighter, lower torque cars like the Civic are hyper-sensitive to changes like that!

I guess it would be safe to say, that his "Full weight, street tire, reg gas" setup would put him around a low 16 @72mph judging by the vid.
Not trying to take anything away from your kill, but you pulled freight trains on him in a matter of seconds.

Doesn't look or sound like he tried for more than about 1 second in that video. Unless he's tuning for race gas it won't make that big of a difference. IF he tried, judging by the way you pulled much like others have said, you would be an 11 second car. But you are far from being an 11 second car.
