Default We got Hardware

Replaced the broken truetrac with a new one and took the hotrod to the track this weekend. Loaded in my custom Brenspeed 12.90 tune and ran at TNT. Ran 12.92, 12.88 and 12.87 DA was 2133 feet which didnt surprise me as it was hot as sh*t. Car was dialed it so I left it be.

Ran two qualifying races 12.75 ( where did that come from ) and 12.91 ( on the brakes) which got me the #1 qualifying spot.

Make it through a few rounds but the car seemed to be slowing down a bit which was prolly because the humidity was so much worse than in the afternoon. Was also cutting great lights off the pro tree .55-.58 all night. In the finals I raced a nice 86 foxbody. We both had the exact RT .66 and ET 13.04 which never happens. In the end I crossed first by .007 I got lucky with the bad light thats for sure. One thing I have learned with this car is you have to deep stage and bring those revs up or I cannot cut a light in the 5's against a pro tree. Took home the glory, some new hardware and a check. Some victory lane ho's would have been nice. LOL

Ironically all my racing buddies were off island that night so I was all alone when it came to swapping out the DRs at midnight and nobody to celebrate with. LOL.....murphys law for sure. A great night though, NastyGT didnt let me down and the new truetrac rocked.

Congrats, and nice job at the lights. Yeah it sucks running solo and no one to celebrate with. Still better than sitting at home.
