I still think trap speed should be alot higher with that much power. On your first post you said you let it cool down for 3 min. That should be 30 min. minimum. What we're your times before the blower?

Yeah I ment 30 mins cool down before the 13.1. This is the worst part, my best before the blower and 4.10s' was a 13.5 @ 102 or 103 if I remember correctly, still with a horrible 2.2 60. I think I just really need some good stickies.

what was the DA when you ran?

can you post a time slip?

where's your pinion angle set?

108 for a blower car is low.

in my 06GT w/ a Vortech 12psi @ 460 whp ran 11.6-11.7s @ 117-118. I had a "glory" pass at 11.49 @ 121 w/o passenger seat, homemade borrowed skinnies and a splash of race fuel for added timing.

get a good tire, my car would 60' in the 1.6x range w/ a 265/40/18 MT ET SRII

LOL, you got it right but for the capital "J"

Thanks for the compliment.

Here's the slip, i don't know the da, I'll take a look(looked and can't find what the da was). I was also thinking what other problems I might have and I remembered I haven't changed my fuel filter since I bought the car, I have 42,000 on her, think that could cause that big of a problem? Pinon angle?

what track did you run at? you can put in the track and day you ran here http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php and then it will give you the temp/humidity/temps for the time.. looks like you ran at 7:30pm so whatever they have close to that is good enough.

If the DA was 6,000' i'd expect a 110 trap at least. I have seen traps not reading right twice when I've gone... like when I went last time the right lane always read 2mph slower than the left lane.. and my car is very consistent... time before that was at one of these car show things where they setup a dragstrip at the airport... their equipment was all kinds of messed up...

2036 was the da according to that calculator, thanks Mishri btw, very helpful tool there. So looks like the da was good. Now I'm starting to get worried.

2036 is not "good", it's not horrendous, but it slows you down some.

good DA is -500 or lower IMO, I've raced in as low as -1700 DAs.

fuel filter should be changed, however, unlikely that you'd lose 5-7 MPH in trap from that.

when was the last time you had a dyno pull w/ a data log done?

I see no correlation here....

Yeah, I was thinking the OP's combo would be closer to 118-120 trap speed. It's certainly capable of mid 12s as it sits, with some finesse off the line.
