What tire? Rear suspension ? Pinion angle ?

My blown 06 GT would hook no trouble in a 265/40/18 DR MT ET SR II, pull 1.6x 60' at Atco all day, launching 4500-5000

Nice runs!! Better tires and more practice on the launch and your times will definitely improve!

275/50 MT ET Streets -J&M LCAs, Steeda Fixed Upper control arm. The pinion angle is pretty perfectly aimed at the trans.

Atco has also gotten crappier in prep I feel after new ownership. I ran 13.5 @ 105mph on street tires when I was NA a year and half ago. I had a tune, gears and axle back. The prep was crap this time and we were getting into the 80s mid day.

I would love to know the DA... with that kind of power you should have a lot left in it.

what? Pinon angle is a measurement in degrees. Are you referring to the angle of the LCAs?

my M&Hs hold up well and I ran nearly the same time as you (even with my bad DA) no spinning on the 1-2 shift. But I can only launch at about 2k rpm

are you getting them good and hot? I've been told they work best with a really good burnout.
