I think people say the average for a LT header+cammed 3v is around 350whp... cai+tune can take you up close to 300whp, get another 25-30 with LT headers, another 25-30 for cams. He might have a good tune and strong running engine, I don't think 361whp is impossible, but it could be a slightly generous dyno.
The neon's claimed dyno+1/4 mile times seem off unless his engine wasn't running properly... glad I have the 5.0... now I just need a supercharger and better wheels/tires/suspension so I don't get embarrassed by a neon hehe I still could though, there is a neon that frequents our track that has a parachute (obviously nothing is stock about it, except for the body, it says "It's only a neon" on the back)
Man I need to find that dyno. 361 from a 3 V with bolt ons? Da**! Anyways good run man. Any future plans?
I'm looking for a DD now so I can park it. Once it becomes a weekend car I'd like to put a blower on it. Of course money is a huge factor.

This car has always seemed to be strong for what it has, ever since I bought it new. I'm really cool about letting people drive it who I trust, and I have been accused of lying about mods. More than a few people have said it has to have more than I say it has, even when it was stock. I also bought my wife an 08 GT brand new as well, so I had a good comparison back when mine was stock. She and I both agreed mine just felt a bit faster stock vs stock for some reason (and we both had 3.31 gears stock, so it wasn't that). Also, our clutches dont have nearly the same feel for whatever reason.
I did have it tuned by Mike Murillo, who has a Mustang dyno. It dyno'd like 312rwhp there, but it actually felt quite slower after his tune than when I brought it in. I took it back to the previous tuner (where I got the numbers I posted) and had him reload his tune. He said Murillo had set my timing back by about a third. I'm not sure what brand dyno the last tuner I used has, but it's not a Mustang dyno.
