New PB in the Camaro SS
Took the family racing tonight. My wife took her 2011 L99 SS and my daughter took her bone stock 1998 GT. Great night for racing. I pulled off a new PB in the SS. went 12.89@110.
My daughter got two runs in. First was 15.7@90 with a 2.5 sixty on her first ever pass. Her second run was a 15.3@90 with a 2.1 sixty. She learns quick. I took down a LS2 gto and a 2010GT. The wife killed a G37 twice. pic of my timeslip below. The SS now has an Airraid CAI, Texas speed 17/8th headers, Muffler delete and a SCT handheld tune.

I hear ya man, nice work! That L99 is right on track with what the auto LS1 F-body does with about the same mods. If you ever decided to stall it you'd see low 12s out of it all day. Cam it and well, you know what I'm getting at..
Thats awesome you got your daughter out there running. Sounds like a chip off the old block with that 2.1 60'.

LOL I'm probably creating a monster with my daughter. As far as the Camaro goes I don't want to mod it to the point that my ole lady starts bitching about it not feeling stock anymore. So I'll probably put a set of drag radials on it and some 3.91 gears and stop after that. That should get me mid low 12s out of it. It's a fun car now. I hated it when I first bought it for her.

SS is making nice power 110 mph is no joke, thats middles 12's power. Gears and tires would be a great mod for the track and still retain great manners on the street. Cams is where its starts to blur those lines.

One run a 13.6@102 and one run a 13.4@104. They didn't do bad but even when my wife got off to a bad start and they got out a few cars she ran it down pretty easily.

Nice work man... car is getting quicker.
You don't need to get all crazy though... plenty of cam choices and smaller stalls that will give you a little bit more and not take anything away from daily driving.
I'm far from fast, even pathetic for a cam swapped car but I had 24mpg on yesterdays fill up and the car spends a good amount of time WOT during the week.
