Stock converter remeber its an auto. 305/35/R18 nt555r's out back.
Numbers should be right he show me sae and std abd i gave you the sae numbers. I have two tunes one for spray one for motor. My car could prob see high 12s on the spray i had the window switch on at 3000 off at 6100 and there was some lag off the line before i hit 3000 and slight bog on shifts. It dead hooks on spray even on spray

The power is there on the spray to run mid-low 12s honestly. I think its some other things preventing it from happening though. Maybe your shift points are set pretty low, etc. Takes a little bit of everything to get the times to match the HP numbers.

Not trying to give you a hard time or beat you down, just hate to see a nitrous Mach still in the 13s and having owned 3 of them I know what they are capable of (automatic is a benefit in this case). I just feel like there is something somewhere slowing that Mach down that could easily be corrected.

something just doesn't seem right even with a stock converter. in my old auto gt, back when it was midpipe/intake/tune/gear it went high 13's, like a 13.8 I believe. Your car should deff be upper 12's with a stock converter. Which track did you go to? I'd go back and get some more practice. Milans open for a few more weekends, test and tune this sunday.

also with your car making 350~ whp on the shot, just for a comparison my old gt with a 125 shot probably made within 25whp of you, and that car went 12.1 on a 555r. Your cars begging for a circle d and a shorter gear(not sure if you have a gear I didn't see that or not).

*edit* my gt ran a 13.70@100 with a 2.09 60' with midpipe, catback, tune, cai, and 3.73. The thing prolly dyno'd 230 if it was lucky being an auto. with 280whp you should be in the lower 13's stock stall/dr's.

350 wtrq not whp on the spray so the hp has to be a bit lower. I dont know whats causing it, too big a tire ? Ive got a **** ton of wheel time behind this car and have everything figured out at the track. It likes tire pressure and leave best off idle and was always slower on foot brake. I know he changed some tranny stuff with the new tune maybevi should have tried foot braking it? I cut like 3-4 tenths off switching to idle vs foot brake previously

Ah I read that wrong then, still assuming 325 whp or so it should still be a very solid 12 car. Have you tried flashing the converter? that seems to be what a lot of cars like.

How tall is the tire you're using? If its over 26", then that's a big part of your problem. Machs need to rev.

Thats what i do, its always went better flashing as opposed to footbrake but like i said he made some tranny changes wonder if i should have tried foot braking once or twice. What makes it even worse is my entire back seat is out still so the thing weighs less too. I dont get it. Ive made so many passes in this thing i know how it likes to be driven. The only things i didnt do that i normally would is air up the front tires because one of thr cores are bent from all my track visits airing and dropping them so i left them alone

Yea, those tires are costing you some, but I don't think its worth ditching them over, not as good as those wheels look.

You would know if he tuned your trans aggressive or not. The WOT shifts should be barking 2nd gear on street tires, with a very noticeable thump in your back on every shift.

Flashing usually is the best technique on stock verters, either that or leaving off idle. Although my wife's TBSS leaves much harder when foot-braked to as close to 2k as possible. Sounds like you've got that part figured out though, I'd love to see a 4.10 gear, a solid 100 shot, and some hard WOT shifts out of your car. Run 11s.

Maybe give him a call and see if you can get some specs on the trans tuning. Locking the converter between the 1/8th and 1/4 will give you a nice bump in trap speed if thats something you want.
