10 second 5.0 stang and 9 second zl1!!
Well my work rented the track for a few hours to try and get some more runs in our customers zl1, I'll post the link to the video on this car, the track video at the end shows our previous best of 9.89. Today I tried some different things to get it to leave better and we modified the suspension a bit, and knocked the 60' down a bit to a 1.41, which resulted in a 9.69@144! I'm sure we'll get the vid up of that run asap but it's on the company camera so gotta wait for them to make a vid, here's this to hold you over...
Next up was our old shop car, 2011 5.0 auto. He got it from us bone stock with a gear in it(4.10 I believe). He has since added a full stainless works exhaust, cai, 100 shot, big n littles, and we tuned it. He came in with a best of 11.59 on stock wheels with dr's out back. With the big n littles he dropped that best down to a 11.41 on motor. Then he sprayed it and that thing left HARD. I didn't record the best run, which was a 1.41 60', 10.63@126. The second run I did record with my phone which was a 1.45 60, 10.67@126. Pretty damn good for the few mods! Here's the vid I got of that:
Also would like to chime in the conditions were great for the track, cold crisp day, da was -400. There was a good size wind but it was all blowing torwards the sides of the car, not against it or with it.

That camaro still needs a lot more work as far as fine tuning it goes. some shock adjustments to try and get the thing to leave smoother, and it's shifting is very irratic. you can hear it at the last shift it doesn't shift firm, it jumps up 200 rpm then shifts. Might be the trans starting to throw in the flag, it is a bone stock trans with just a mild converter upgrade.
