Default 99 GT vs Csrt4

Last night my friend wanted to try out his new tires so him and my other friend decided to do a couple of runs in his srt4.

I had a 2009 CSRT4 before with just Ms1 and they are very quick cars, especially, top end. They are also hard to launch as you can see that this driver put some rubber down in 2nd gear. I'm surprised the stang held the lead as long as it did. The stang jumped the first run and the CSRT killed its launches. From a roll would've been another story, lol. My CSRT dynoed 297 whp and 302 wtq with just Ms1.

Oh yes they are, FWD sucks when it comes to launching. I was surprised as well, the srt4 caught up to him at around 120. Yeah the srt4 moves from a roll, My 13 5.0 is completely stock and I can put 3 1/2 cars and pulling but slowly on the srt4 from a roll so yeah they are pretty quick.

CSRTs are quick cars but not quick enough to run a stock 5.0, full bolt ons and Ms1K wouldn't outrun one but might keep up to a stock 5.0. There's guys on the calibersrt forum I'm on that say they've beat 5.0s, stock and then I wonder what crack they smoke, lol.

. From a dig I pull on the srt4 hard, I put easily more than 3 cars on him. When we race he always wants a 25 roll he never wants a 35 I'm sure if we race from there I can pull on him even more. I like the srt4s they are quick fun and good on gas but lol yeah some people exaggerate their abilities, lol they are definitely smoking something if they think stock they have a chance against a 5.0.

The other day I met a guy that had one and he said he had mopar stage 2 at 25psi and was pushing 390hp think that's true? I just went along with him but his car was super quiet.

For the caliber srt4 mopar only put out the ms1, unlike the neon srt4. The caliber wasn't as popular as the neon so that's probably why we only got a stage1. For me, my csrt4s sweet spot was 40mph in 2nd gear but, unfortunately for my csrt4 my 5.0's sweet spot is there, too!
I'm not an expert on the Csrt but I think you would need to upgrade the turbo to get 400whp. Realtune, a company that does performance parts for the srt, has ms1K ECU's with three versions ranging from stock mods to full on race Bolt ons. There's csrt4's into the high 10's to low 11's and making well over 500whp.

Lol hmm, idk why my friend only wants a 25 then. I have only done one 40 but idk I guess I just got used to 35 but if 40 is better for our cars I guess I have to try it more often.

I also thought you needed more to get it close to 400 but since I don't know much about srt4s I just went along with the guy.

I have 3.31 gears and stock 18's so 40 is good for me. I do spin my tires at 40 with my 93 race tune, though! Full bolt ons with stock turbo would be dangerous and hard to get near 400whp without upgrading the turbo. 25 in 2nd in the Csrt4 would be too low and have too much turbo lag and 25 in 1st would be useless, lol.
