Not terrible..best I've ever had was a 2.0x... though I suspect gears will hurt you if you already have issues with traction. Tires planned?

Have drag radials. 555R's right now might switch to et street radial 2 but the car dead hooks with 30psi in the tires. It just wont physically pass 2.0 i've launched every way you can imagine. hell i have the time slips from my last 6 passes sitting here next to me. 2.12, 2.08, 2.11, 2.11, 2.05, 2.11

And thats a mix of nitrous and motor runs, window switch rpm is obviously not being reached until after the 60'

To this day I still cant understand that. That car should sixty in the 1-7-1.8 range all day long. I know you've covered this before but you've tried different launch RPMs and Different drag radial air pressures while you were experimenting? Still stock suspension right? Has anyone else made a pass in the car? I'd love to see you get this ironed out so we can see what that care is really capable of.

Tried many different launch techniques. On the last 6 passes it had all teamz solid adjustable suspension parts out back. Only thing I can figure are my big 18 inch wheels with 275s up front on a 300hp car. Nobody else has made a pass but I've got over 100 passes in this thing

LOL we gotta figure this thing out. I want to see some stout numbers for that car!!!! Pinion angle set-up correctly? Yea and a lot of weight up front never helps.

Pinion angle could be off. But it doesn't 60 any worse than before. Think I need more power to see the suspension work. Stock torque converter too

I think the issue is really simple. You got too much tire/weight.

I lost ~3 MPH trap speed and also ran slower when I switched from NT555 275/40-17 on the rear 255/45-17 on the front to NT05 315/35/17 on the rear and 275/40-17 on the front. I also added after market LCAs ontop of the bigger tires and still consistently ran slower. The rims and tires are just heavy as **** and dont give me enough extra grip to hook.

Out of the 10 passes I have down the strip my very first was my fastest. Trapped 114(spun some) and ran 12.2 I think? I cant find my slips but I know I still have them.

I never trapped faster than 110 or ran faster than 12.5ish after the change to my tires/LCAs. Certainly I didnt get dumber. It just added a lot more unsprung weight and not that much more grip.

I'm looking at buying strip wheels/tires sometime this year and I cant see a reason at all to go past a 26 inch tire for my setup. Im actually going to try to stay with 25.7 and get something like a Hoosier DOT DR. I think it will hook without killing my gearing and adding senseless weight.

We were all out last night. I got one dig in with the G8. Was going to spray last night till my headache nx bottle broke..... We took off, he pulled ahead a fender right away and on the shift i reeled it back in but he pulled away a little more. He let out id say a little under 100mph and was a half car ahead. curious if i would have closed the gap once i got the rpms up high where it likes them. So the camaro has me by 2 cars or so, and G8 by well say a half. however i take it every time from a 50 roll.

Now i've got an excuse to spray against them lol. G8 never did get his dyno tune. Vector motorsports really screwed that up. was supposed to order a part and never did, got crappy with on the phone about it when he called. He said whatever lets get it coming so they said oh sure friday then. well he drove up there and it wasnt there and they are not close to us so he said nevermind ill just go to livernois. So as of now ill probably ride with him Wednesday to livernois and see how it does. you still working there greddy ?
