I was actually happy when I wrecked my first car my dad made me get. There was a primer gray 69 Camaro right around the corner from where we lived. $1500. My dad said there is NO WAY im cosigning for a death machine. He then got me a power blue 1980 mercury bobcat.
I wrecked the wanna be pinto and took the insurance money and bought a bright red 69 El Camino 396!

By than, that car was so old I got it cheap at $13k. Didn't last long at all as my first car.. spun out twice, and finally wrecked it taking a corner at 80mph
Didn't make all that much power but boy was it light and nimble! Those twin turbo's on that car were pretty amazing..

Maybe it's because I have a cobra but I'm never getting anyone that wants to race me other than stupid things like mid 90's full size trucks with more rust than solid metal. I like the powertrain of the camaro's but like said above I could never own a 5th gen just because they're so hard to see out of, it would **** me off. But I do respect them! I cant say I've ever flicked anyone off after losing tho unless it was a buddy and I was just effin around. that's pretty low!
LOL...I get that too...what is with that? I had a Ford 350 diesel do that the other day.....
I've never had a Camaro challenge me. In fact they always appear to go out of their way to pretend I'm invisible......
However that said, I've had two Camaros and Two Mustangs and the Mustang IMO is the best, both in interior and exterior style and fun..... But I would still like to have a Camaro convertible for the missus.

LOL......my first car was a Maro......custom yellow 1970 SS 307 2 barrel with 200 ponies that was dog slow with 99k on the clock and so low you couldn't drive over a brick in the road. It handled well and sadly I drove the schit out it, raced a ton, and lost a ton 
My only other Chevy was a 1500 4x4 short bed with a 5spd and 350 that ran like a bat, but went through 3 rear ends............not a Chevy fan
