Took the 2012 V6 to Atco tonight just to see what it would do. And what it does is lose alot. LOL. Ran a best of 14.1@100. with a 2.1 sixty on a 77 degree night. Car ran a ton of 14.2-14.3s. always a 2.1-2.2 sixty. Got frustrated and crawled under the car to read the diff tag. I learned it has a 2.73 gear ratio. I was told by the guy I bought it from it had a 3.31. More disappointment. Any way not real shabby for a close to stock V6 auto. It should break into the 13s if I take it back this fall and run in some good air. Always funny to take a slow car to the track after you've gotton used to a quicker car.
It's all perspective... take that car back to pre 2005 and you would be running with the GT 4.6Ls... take it pre 1999 and your killing the v8 GT cars. Hell my 95 LT1 Z28 ran 14.1 @ 97mph on a 2.1 60ft (DA 1951ft), amazing now that a V6 can put down numbers like that (in many cases better numbers than we saw from stock cars in the 90s/early 2000s).

LOL you know me bro. I hate to lose. The V6 is probably the best bang for the buck out there right now. All the magazines are ohh and ahhing over the Fiesta ST but it's a second slower and doesn't handle as good. Yet the ST is making the 10 best lists just because it's a newr design. No thanks, I'll take a Mustang.
