I ran some locals tonight. Sorry, no vids. It was at night and the go-pro we usually use was with another guy we hang out with up in NY..anyway

2012 5.0, manual, intake, BAMA tune, off-road H-pipe
2006 GTO, manual, intake, Tune, ORX, 373 RWHP
2003 Mach 1, manual, intake, pullies, full LT exhaust, cams, tune, 4.10S, 373 RWHP


First run, my GTO Vs the 5.0. 40-120mph. He gets a slight jump, puts about half a car on me by 100mph, I couldn't close the gap, but he never gained anymore ground either..so we went again. Second run, got an even start, I pulled maybe a fender, he almost misses 3rd and I pull ahead a car or so, held that lead.

Third run, Mach Vs 5.0, 40-130 mph. 3 honks and they're off..nobody pulls. I swear they stayed even throughout the run! So if anyone ever tries to tell you cams don't help a 4V mach, now you know!

Last run was me (GTO) vs the Mach We. started at 40 mph. I got an initial fender from the go, but then he got back even between my shifts. I couldn't shake him. That Mach pulled harder than any other Mach I've seen NA.

Again I apologize for not having vids. It was late at night and nobody brought a camera.
All 3 cars were pretty much dead even.

Sweet! I would love cams and lts but thats a can of worms I don't wish to open. Any plans for more mods on the gto?

Good runs tho Trey! Like I mentioned before I expected you pulling on the mach and the 5.0 to pull on you. But races within a car length are always the best kind! Unless you dont like the guy anyways haha. You need a damn gopro man! I'm gonna have to get you one for christmas lmao

He's making really good power, but those cams cost him a pretty penny to get it all done. Like close to $3k iirc. But, they brought the car to life, man. Before he did those cams we ran and I absolutely obliterated him from start to finish doing the same roll runs. We were all impressed to say the least.

Thanks buddy! I thought the same man, 5.0>GTO>Mach. Only thing I thought would change would be the Machs top end but not THAT much. And it had power right away too, I only jumped ahead a few feet when we took off and then he stuck right there with his front bumper at my front tire the whole time.

Yea I know man. We usually have one. They all want to go again and vid it today, but I don't think I can make it out there.
