Met up with a buddy who just finished his car, 09 ctsv sedan 6speed manual. Has H/C, ported snout, upper and lower pullies, longtubes, full exhaust, zl1 lid, minor other things. Car made 734/701. We ran a couple times, only got a vid of one. was about a 50-140. we were a good race but his car is deff faster, pulled little by little and ended up about a full length ahead. Would have been more but he hit the limiter just about every shift.

Next up was a c5 6speed with a cam and procharger, cant remember what size I believe it was a p1. But said it made 580whp. did the same 50-140 race and at first I'd pull a little, about a car I believe. Midway thru the run he'd stop the pull and catch even about 100mph then go past and end about a car or so ahead. Thing deff had some top end powa!

I got vids of one of each of the races, waiting for my buddy to upload and send them to me and I'll get the links. Now I gotta get some damn e85 in my car to make it a little more entertaining for me .

Those caddys ain't no joke. We have bolt on tuned cars running low 11s and trapping in the 130s here at Atco.

Jeez you guys, this makes me want to park mine and get a new hobby lol. If you don't have over 500 at the wheels now a days, you don't have a fast car.

Of course I'm not parking mine, it is what it is, and I'll still like driving it. But maybe it's just time for a career change. I just replaced the clutch packs in my 8.8 and couldn't afford the carbon fiber kit lol.

it was black and the bypass was decently loud, not obnoxious tho.

Just put vids up guys, in the ctsv vid the first race I started in 3rd, second race started in 2nd. Pretty obvious both cars are faster than my turd, that c5 would have put a few on me had he not been sleeping.

Damn the sounds coming from that vid are sick. Good run, like BB said those caddy's are nasty. For the money on a used one, its a lot of car for the money. Some E85 ought to even you guys out for sure..until he does it too, lol
