SRT8 destroys 05 Mustang GT

Heck, my 09 Eagle 5.7 Hemi with the 370hp engine tuned to 410hp also screamed on the top end. I'd beat the crap out of newer 5.7's and older 6.1's all the time on the highway... they never knew what hit them lol

When NA I was also very underwhelmed by the power of the 4.6.. I loved the styling and sound of the ride, but power it was lacking until I got a supercharger, but even then I had to really push it to 10 psi and run TORCO in order to get any real power out of it. I loved it then, but it seems like a lot to do just to compete/beat other cars.
First races in the 4.6, I lost to RSX's and GSR's all night.. what a friggin' shame. I beat the snot out of imports when I got a blower on it, just because I felt like it lol

My favorite part of this video is definitely when he blows past the car. But the mustang does make pretty sounds going trough the gears.

it's a BEAST with a supercharger.. TRUST ME
My greatest regret was selling my 08 Supercharged Mustang GT full bolt on's
Best mod for the 4.6, by far..

I had a Vortech V3 intercooled kit, first with 8 psi and then 10 psi with TORCO and a Bama Race tune. 8 psi was decent, 10 psi was great.. the TORCO Race tune was a friggin' AWESOME!
I regret ever selling that car. It should have gotten a forged 4.6, Brenspeed Blower cams and a C&L intake manifold. Should have been a safe 550+whp, easy..
Besides the spaghetti wires of the vacuum lines, it was an easy bolt on affair. Nothing hard nor difficult about it at all.
Power kicked in instant because of the 4.10's, but obviously traction suffered greatly from 1st to 2nd gear. It got up to 120 real quick, but topped out at 130 due to the gearing. If I could do it again, I would!

I can see why, looks stock... hauls like a stock 07-09 GT500! The perfect combo!
I am more leaning towards a roots or twin screw though! I wouldn't change my 3.55's if I do ever end up going supercharged. I think they are just about perfect.
