Default Finally in the 10's...barely

Edged myself into the 10's today. Weather was great for the track today, 65-70 and sunny with no rain in sight. However track prep was non existent which really killed it. my best 60' was a 1.87 my very first run, that was a 10.9@136. Let it cool down for a while and got my worst 60', 2.0 which was an 11.0 @ 139(best mph). After that run I only let it cool down for ~10 minutes then ran again, which resulted in a 1.92 60', and another 10.9@136. Sucks I couldn't get the times lower but the track just wasn't there at all. My old tires didn't help, but nobody else there with decent power was hooking either.

Here's a little vid of 2 of my runs from the gopro. Should be a few more I can get from outside from the camera at work when they get it all edited.

Here's an extra vid just for stone. Coworkers car that went 11.6. :P

10s is a pretty exclusive club! Congrats. Wish I could put my transmission and suspension in that car and watch it hit 9s! Both of the cars in the other lane had to be like WTF????

That is a lot of mph for that time. 10:90 @ 136 mph

Nice job, Greddy. There is a lot of time left in the car, so you have a lot to look forward to just as it sits. Was that silver SS the same co-worker you were telling me about that was talking so much junk?

Yeah, last summer he was when I was just on a ported eaton. His car runs pretty good for what it is. Dont see many 6speed cars that actually launch well. He drops the clutch at 6k, but I guess you can do that on a liberty built t56 and 9" rear.

Looks awesome dude. Congrats.

Your car has very strong top end to the point that it almost looked like the SS either missed a gear or let off because you put a big gap on that car once you caught 'em...that's scary fast.

Nice job Colin! If it's any consolation the track prep wasn't any better on Friday either lol. Is the Silver Camaro the one that has the trex cam and cutout?

He's a good driver. I thought it was an automatic the way he launched. Absolutely no match for that fighter jet you're driving though. Pulled him like he slammed on brakes, lol

Killer trap speed

I hate when they don't prep the tracks! mid 10's right there with a 1.4/1.5 60 ft...
