Default KB + MT DRs = traction?

I'm hoping someone has a similar setup and can either vouch for increased traction from M/T DR's or let me know if first and second are still pretty useless from a dig. I have the Nitto 555's now. Thanks for any help.

I guess my signature w/ list disappeared. I have a 2.1 KB with 13 lb pulley and full suspension.

Do you have Nitto 555 extremes now or Nitto 555R drag radials?

Either way, the MT drags work well, much better than a Nitto drag radial. Just gotta do your part with the heat up and foot work.

I have the extremes now. I have a tough time not putting the hammer down when the car in the next lane gets a jump.

With that kind off power, why not just go with slicks ?

No spin = best 60' = new personal best ET =

The Mickeys will be much better than the Nittos for traction

Nitto extremes are just street tires. I've been able to pull 1.6s on their drag radials though, so with you having suspension work I don't see why you couldn't do well with them. Mickeys obviously hook better, just don't last nearly as long.

Thanks for the replys. It sounds like the MT's are worth the scratch.

I would like slicks and probably would go there eventually if no one gave the Mickeys a thumbs up but I have to drive to the strip when i get a chance to go so the Dr's are more practical.

I have 373 gears and 285 35 18s now.
I guess I will be looking at the 305 35 18s from American muscle unless anyone can recommend something better. Am wants 332 a piece

What numbers are you putting down? I have extremes and they're awesome. I have a vortech though.
