Took the 5.0 to Atco
Well I couldn't hold out any longer. Took the GT to the track tonight. It has 500 miles on the odometer. Loaded up the SCT tune and bolted on an air raid intake before we left. Over all pretty happy for a first time out in a brand new car. Car ran consistent 12.5s-12.7s. It was about 90 degrees and humid and track prep was craptastic. Got sideways twice. Beat some pretty stout cars in the process. Smoked a guy in a SRT chally stick shift. poor bastard never got out of the 13s. Also edge out an c63 AMG. Looking forward to running it in the fall with good air should be about 3/10ths faster with no other changes. So I'm betting it'll hit 12.2-12.3 the way it sits now on skinny all season tires.. I'll post a slip or two and a couple photos tomorrow.

On street tires the Camaro ran a 12.66@111.5. That was on a 38 degree night. It had intake, tune and full exhaust with 1 7/8 stainless headers, no cats and muffler delete that took about 80 pounds off the car. This mustang is going to be quick once it's broke in and can run in good air.

Yep still have both. The SN95 has been sitting in a shop for the last 6 months waiting on a few things. Not real happy about that. The 3.7 is my daily driver.
It seamed it had the best traction in sport. I'm hoping once the tires have a few hundred more miles on them I can try turning TC off and trying again. Most likely I'll just throw a set of nittos on there and try for good numbers in the fall.

First, nice runs! That car is getting it done for the heat/humidity/mods/street tires. Second, *** me you're faster than I am. I made one pass Friday night, 1.93 60', and went 12.73 at 109.8. I have a 12.2 in mine too with better air and a proper launch, but I'm on drag radials, full exhaust, gears, etc, etc...I'm impressed in other words. Nice work sir!
