Ran the Z28 again

I'll hang on to it for a second. Being paid for and not having much in it makes it easier and less tempting to trade. 94blk, I'd bet everyone except for the nitrous guys are probably running 3-5 tenths slower than normal. This humidity has been brutal. I'm over it, ready for the fall!

I finally got to run my friends cammed ls2 gto Friday night. It's a stalled auto on MT ET streets, full exhaust, 230ish cam, etc. It made 414 RWHP, but is full weight. I'm just boltons, gear, but got my weight down to 3140. So I'm nearly 700lbs lighter. He beat me by less than a tenth through the 1/4, but I actually trapped 1mph higher. I picked up 26 mph on the back half to his 22, so I should do ok from a roll too. DA was over 2400, so everyone was slow.

I thought about glass too, not sure what the drawbacks are, if they get hazy or anything. 2900lb is getting light! I'm digging this weight reduction thing though, definitely surprised that GTO. 3rd is totally done after Friday night, so I'm pulling it soon as I get a chance for a rebuild and stall.

Different car. Like a fool, I sold that SS. If I could go back, I wound'nt have even modded it. Not everyday that you run across a true SLP 01 SS with 10k miles on the odometer. Car should've stayed covered up in my garage. The one I have now is more suitable for racing. Its old, lots of miles, cheap..
