I have seen it too many times.
Watched a guy BUY a viper at the drag strip (it was a special a dealer had to show) guy buys it and track owner gives him free runs all night. he spun the first 60' then caught a gear and did the same exact thing.

I have also seen a TON of people do similar things then personally tow them home so they could later try and stage accidents on back roads to get insurance too pay.

I usually see this guy out when I go. He gets out of shape occasionally on slicks with full track prep. More than likely he was running street tires to run in a street class. He is one of the few that have been given overlooked as far as the NHRS Safety regulations. When I was out he was running 10's with nothing but a helmet.

I wasn't able to make outlaw armageddon but I heard there were a butt-load of street cars there. From the way they hyped it, it was going to be mostly pro-street guys running.
