Default Bolt on 15 GT VS. Hellcat

Since my 95 still isn't ready to hit the streets. I took momma's GT to Atco last night. Here's a neat video of me racing a BONE stock manual Hellcat. It was 72 degrees and the DA was +1495.

LOL, that had to feel AWESOME, congrats.

Now, honestly, were you watching him coming and hoping for the traps to be there soon ?

Man, those things pull pretty good in the back half....

Wow, awesome example of how a lower 60' time can totally win the race 1/2 second lag took him the entire distance to catch you. Nicely done!

The trap speed on the Hellcat though, with a chitty launch no less, dayum!

What tires were on the Stang and Hellcat?

Nice run. That manual hellcat must be a tricky thing to launch on street tires.

I hand picked every race last night. I called my shot with the Hellcat to my wife and friends. He was coming hard at the end. I also raced a C7 corvette that I beat badly. And lost to a turbo swapped BMW 235Xi. I got way out in front of the bimmer. But it had the top end pull to get me by half a car at the stripe. He was trapping 122. I figured all three cars I raced last night had at least a 5MPH trap advantage over me. I like to try and outdrive the faster cars.

Funny thing with the hellcat driver. When I asked him what it ran before the race. He said 10s. I told him it's not running 10s on the stock P-zeros. I'm on Nitto NTO5Rs

I've beaten 3 manual hell cats this year. And got my teeth kicked in by two Auto hellkittys. Every manual struggles with the launch. Even on drag radials.

I agree. No way he was grabbing 10 with stock P-zeros. They are no better than BFG Comp T/A tires (Run of the mill street summer tire). Especially with the 60' run on the slip.
