Default Mach 1 Vs 1968 Coupe

So i went out for some runs yesterday. I've been itching to race something. Thought i was starting to have these tires down on the street but i was wrong as you'll see lol. Although with some heat and backing on top of my burnout it made a huge improvement.

My buddy is new to racing, thus the pushing through his brakes on the launch causing tons of spin. He wants to take it to the track this upcoming week, if weather permits i'll probably take mine as well for some NA times.

I didnt realize he was pushing through until afterwards i saw it on the video. So with all the spin i said lets do a 20 roll and he put about 2 cars on me up to 100mph. He's got a 351 windsor, AFR heads, edelbrock intake, alphabet cam i believe. Roller rockers. 3500 stall

I had a small backfire on my shift on the second run where i hook decent, you'll hear it in the video which is something new, ran fine though no stumble or anything, that was the first time i've felt the suspension actually feel like it was working and coming out hard since bringing the car back out.

Great videos, your buddy is funny with the wheel spin at the start. He'll get the hang of it soon....but still both cars look good...

Yea, this was a project he and his grandfather built together as he finished high school so its got some old school stuff. Weather is looking good so we're looking good for the track tomorrow.
