i wanted to try bracket racing. i finished 4th out of 17 cars. broke out every time. 13.40 dial in. 13.38,13.39,13.37 letting off early everytime. during testing car ran 13.27-13.33. should have dialed in at 13.35

i have been bracket racing heavily since i was 16...and i seldom sandbag, unless the class doesnt let me dial what i want. i usually dial within a few hundredths of my trial times, unless the weather changes a great deal...however, a few years ago, my class had a "13.00+ rule"...which was crap, as my car had the same equipment (DOTs and mufflers) so i had to dial 13.00 and i worked on getting my car to run 13.00...there were guys in the class running 11s, dialing 13.00s...
95 LX 4.6 with 250k miles, stock
.8 slower in the 1/4 mile than it was tested new. Not bad for wear n tear. and my 1st time ever on the strip. Did about 8 runs, 1st one was my fastest, go figure.
