Default '01 z28 vs. 99 cobra

In a STOCK for STOCK race between a 99 cobra and a 01 z28 both being manuals which one do u think would win, assuming both drivers are the same...

Pretty much even, maybe a sliiight advantage to the Z28.

Not this AGAIN I leave this up for a bit but if it turns sour I am going to yank it. AND that includes if it degrades into a 03/04 Cobra vs. LS1 comparision.

It will probably be a pretty good race, but I think the LS1 will edge it out, it just has more power.

i think it would be kinda one sided actually, not that close if especially if your racing for more then a 1/4 mile.

LS1 would win. Some of the factory freaks are low 13's... yours is probably a mid 13's on a great run, high 13's all day.

True dat, my g/f's '01 Z28 ran 13.3 @ 105 stock; that was an auto with 2.73 gears. Manuals are faster.
