1989 mustang gt convertible 5 lug
hi every one...I bought this car that has been lowered 1.2 and 1.0...I am running 2004 bullit rims I think...........My size is 235/55/17...17/8 in all 4 corners...the front rubs on strut dust cover....the front has spacer to bring rim out a bit...I was told to change tires to 245/45/17 all around...Do I still have to use spacer after I get these tires,or the offset on these factory bulit rim is incorrect ...R there any stock 5 lug rim that I dont have to use a spacer in the front...I am not a big fan of spacers....this is the way the car looks now...thanks

If your tires/wheels are rubbing, you do have the incorrect off-set
How thick a spacer do you have and are you certain they are '04 wheels? A 245 tire will fit on them, but will make the rubbing worse. I am not knowledgeable on the off-set changes that a 5 lug conversion does and partly, because there are a few different ways to go with it.
Pull a wheel off and look on the inside. You should find some off-set information there and let us know what it says
