Default granatelli control arms any good?

Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone had a experience with granatelli upper and lower control arms?? They seem decent for the price. I dont drag race my car so im not looking for anything crazy so i figured these would be ok for street use. Any info would be great. Thanks

This depends on the design, not soo much the manufacturer. Do you have a link for the specific arms you are considering?

This is important and will explain why, when I see which ones you are considering

I had GMS uppers and lowers. My car is a DD, not a race car. I kept them greased with quality products. The polyurethane started to give out after less than a year. The uppers were absolutely destroyed.

Since then, I installed Steeda CAs. They are more expensive, but by using two different types of poly (hard center, softer outer) the don't bind up as badly and the poly is holding up fine. Plus, I not longer have to remember to grease them.

I bought the GMS based on someone on here who said they were great. I had a completely different experience and cannot recommend them.

I strongly recommend UPR Products control arms because they are quite a bit nicer and more durable than the GMS. Also our arms are Made in America, they carry a Lifetime Guarantee, and we offer mf.com forum members a 10% discount. Here's the set I'd recommend:

Note* Jazzer prefers LCAs with a spherical at one end, which I don't disagree with, but that adds to the cost.

Jazzer says.... spend the extra $70 and go with:
UPR Pro Series UCA's

and...

UPR LCA's

Subtract the UPR 10% MF's discount and it is like a double-bonus

Jazzer... pimpin' for Sharad

Id also like to suggest getting a spherical upr bushing for the rear end to, as the stock rubbers are probably beat to hell.
