I'm happy to report the rattle/clunk in the back from both torque boxes is fixed Turned out that the bolts holding things together were indead the problem. The hole in the TB on one side was a bit worn out, so much that a 1/2" bolt fit perfectly through. So, the spacers for the Heim Bolt end of the LCA were drilled out to 1/2" ID and all the holes in the TB's were sized up to 1/2".

After that, some 1/2" Grade 8 bolts with a shoulder/smooth shaft instead of all threads were installed. When tightening things up, it was easy to see that the TB metal was a bit wide as the tightening with the torque wrench didn't seem to bottom out for a while even though turning was tough. He went up to ~110ft/lbs and finally crunched it all together and the wrench finally clicked.

For me all I could ever get up to was about 80-85 ft/lbs because I'm just not a shop with a lift, etc to get some good oomph! on it.

I'd like to thank you all for your feedback... Next up are some Caster/camber plates and a strut tower brace. Anyone have any preferences? Nothing crazy, but hopefull a good set of plates that I can install myself.

ADIOS!

Your Fox Body will probably gain some rigidity with a STB, but would start with a weld-in set of FLSFC's for MUCH more benefit.

That's good news. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon to see the torque box holes wallowed out.
