Default Finally go her Lowered, PICS included

Well I finally got my Stang lowered this past Wednsday even though I was given some bad info from a Auto Shop on Monday that my springs were too big for the front struts. Almost ended up buying some new springs or struts, but my Brother In Law helped me out and we accomplished mission. Took 2hrs and 4 minutes and all parts fitted perfectly. Enough said, here are the pics

Set Up are ProDamper Eibach Struts, KYB Just A Gas Shocks, Steeda Panhard Bar, BMR Lowering Springs with 1 inch front drop and 1.23 rear drop, and BOSS 302 Strut Tower Brace.

Looks perfect. I like the deep dish wheels too.

Thanks Kzonts. Unfortunately I curbed the right side, but plan on getting them fixed during the winter season.

Looks like the perfect amount of drop. Not too much, not too little. Great job!

Looks very nice!

What is with these auto shops that know nothing and try to rip people off, especially someone serving their country!

Glad you got it done without them!

@2008Vert: Thanks.. I still have to come at angles, especially at my apartment with underground parking (steep down slope).. But I'm happy with this drop and it's exactly what I was aiming for..

@Hamidar: Thanks.. Not sure what the initial mechanic's problem was, but they were going to charge me 250 Euros (about $300). My brother in law did it for free (I helped with his mentorship)... So I guess it was a win win situation after all..

Ok, so you take it on the Autobahn!? How fast have you gone!

Just to drive on it with American Muscle is awesome, don't have to set any records!

I've always found that unless I mess it up, doing it myself is the best way to go, then you know every nut and bolt on your babies!

This is my DD vehicle so most of my driving in 80% on the Autobahn. And definately an awesome feeling, especially the first few weeks when I bought her. Fastest I've gone was about anywhere from 140-145mph. Normal driving, I run about 100-110mph. I'm use to the speed though so driving that fast (100-110mph) is normal now. However, next April I will be stationed back in the States (Ft. Lewis, Washington), so it's going to be a shock for me driving at 50-60mph on the highway (if that's still the typical speed limit).

Yep, back to the snail's race and Troopers trying to make their quotas. You got to do something many of us can only dream about!

Be safe soldier and welcome home when you get here! Gotta love the NW, it's beautiful out there!

@Hamidar: This will be my first time in the West Coast (grew up in NYC). And very exicted about going back to the States... Thanks!
