Default caster camber plates Y/N?

I lowered my 94 cobra 1.5 around. Should I get aftermarket caster cambers? I've seen post of people saying yes and others saying that stock ones worked ok after lowering.

I would say yes. They are not that exspensive and it'll give you that peace of mine. I had brand new tires on my car before I installed the casters and they didn't last long at all.

I'm gonna throw you a curve ball here and say YES, you should get CC plates, but not for the reason you think. When you lowered your 94 Cobra 1.5", it gained some negative camber, but that negative camber actually adds cornering grip. I won't say you need CC-plates to adjust the camber back to factory specs, because the factory specs are for slow cars!

I recommend CC-plates because the stock ones are poo poo. They have these huge soft rubber bushings, which even when they were new, had way too much deflection. Now that they're almost 20 years old? It's time to go! Upgrade to CC-plates like these from UPR Products, and you'll improve your handling and steering response.

Thank you for your purchase!

Tell them to get the most caster you can get (top of the struts closer to the firewall), camber anywhere between -1° and -2° for an "aggressive street" adjustment, and zero out the toe angle.
