Default Will 1996 GT shocks fit LX (V-6)?

I purchased some Koni STR.T shocks for my son's 1996 base Mustang LX. The seller sent me the GT shocks by mistake. Can you tell me if these shocks will fit on my base Mustang? What kind of modifications will be necessary to make them fit properly?

They are direct fit. No worries about any modifications to make them work.

Default Any difference in ride quality?

Thanks. Hopefully the install will go smoothly. Any difference in ride quality between the LX and GT?

Not that most will notice. The two main variations are the V6 got a softer spring rate due to less curb weight and most of the V6 cars didn't get the rear sway bar (though many dealers added them on the lot).
