Default Need better hook up

I'm looking to get better hookup. i've got a well built 4.6l that has a problem with traction. the car is eibach lowered with tokico shocks, and 285/45/18 nitto nt. tires on it. it's fun to spin tires, but it's expensive and i'm losing time on it. any suggestions that won't completely break the bank?

Are you talking street or strip traction?

For me, nothing beats a spare set of rims with slicks for the strip. Being able to launch a car with no spin is a feeling everyone should experience once, it's that good.

Street, I'm not that concerned about because my driving habits have changed with my age lol.

Wider stickier tires are always a good move... but full UPR Products suspension can be quite effective as well. Are you on stock control arms and k-member?

i am trying to avoid going any wider on my tires as i already had to have my fenders rolled for proper clearance...only thing that is not stock on the suspension is the springs and shocks/struts. looking into rear control arms but trying to figure out if it is worth the additional cost (for my application) to purchase adjustable control arms. not entirely sure what the gain would be for it

Quality control arms like these eliminate wheelhop, and keep the rear end planted by reducing the slop in the motion of the rear suspension:

Default Grip

I am installing BMR poly bushing non-adjustable LCA's soon. I just replaced my tires, 255/40/18's front & 275/40/18's in the back.
