Default Blow Off Valve Vs. Wastegate

Which is better for the SVO? Blow Off Valve Or Wastegate? If anyone has done a blow off valve. Is there a list of steps somewhere on how-to's?

Default RE: Blow Off Valve Vs. Wastegate

Ummm... They are NO were close to being the same. A wastegate controls how much exhaust is used to spool the turbo (limiting boost to the spring pressure/feed line) A blow off valve/bypass valve takes the extra boost out when the throttle plate closes to keep the turbo spooled and stopping the back pressurefrom damaging the turbo.

Do a BPV for a stock engine, BOV for a blow through VAM or a MAF system
