i just bought a 1993 LX 5speed 2.3 litre with 128,000 miles. it is a daily driver. I'm also, currently a proud owner of a 2.3 turbo motor from a 1986xr4ti. I have purchased a turbo coupeLA3 computer and going to re-prong my existing harness for it. I still have the complete harness from the XR4TI at my disposal.... Not sure what i will need from it, but i have it.I purchased an eslinger adjustable cam sprocket, inter-cooler, large VAM from turbo coupe, boost gauge, and trying for anAFR gauge. Ihave also stuffed some meats under the rump of this mustang for some added traction. I don't understand this[sm=wtf.gif]The tranny will shift good somedays, and wont go in gear onothers when sitting still(1st 2nd 3rd 5th and reverse are the problem gears). This makes me think it is a counter shaftproblem..........It can be stiffgoing from 1st to2nd,2ndto 3rd, and ok in the otherswhen taking off. 4th never seems to be a problem moving or sitting still...... Anyone ever had a similar problems like this (I'masking you, is this clutch OR trans bearing problems?) The clutch does not slip bind ormake any noiseIs there any other good ideas or suggestions out there for my projecthuffing4cyl[sm=smokin.gif][sm=smokin.gif][sm=smokin.gif]
