I've been wanting an SVO for a while now and have found a couple of good deals. But the thing that is bothering me is that I'm wondering how well one would do in the winter. It would most likely only be for one winter (if I decide not to use one of my parents vehicles) and I'm not really sure how squirly it would be with a good pair of snow tires and some weight in the back, has anyone had any experience?

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah, I thought it would be fine if I stayed out of boost, but rear wheel is still an issue. If I do get one I'll probably see how it works out and if it doesn't do too well I might just drive the truck that I drove this winter ('74 Chevy w/a 350 and 2wd).
i wouldnt do it those svo's are collectors and that salt and snow are gonna eat that car alive

Yeah, I thought about that too, I'm hoping to only drive it for one winter and then get a F150 before next winter. I'll drive it through this one and then wash it off the best I can after all that crap is off the roads.
