Would it fit? Yes it would. Would it last? Tough to tell. Turbos that cheap on ebay tend to be a crap shoot. They may last for 2 days, 2 months, or 2 years.

Gotcha...well now i know what im looking for. Last night me and a friend tore the complete engine apart. Found and blown head gasket, cylinder 1 and 2 pistons have some rough marks on the top of em. May be from the gasket? Any way i guess ill just take it to a machine shop and see if if can just be honed or needs to be bored 30 over?

Just clean it up. The bottom half of these motors are nearly indestructible, boring them out just weakens them for no real advantage.

h rods? I was told just to reuse the factory ones? and have new pistons pressed on? I will drop the motor off to the machine shop friday to be diped, cleaned have new freeze plugs installed and the oil shaft bearing pressed, and have the crank grinded and polished. till then i have no clue weather or not i can get away with factory size pistons or not. Tryin to find a rebuild kit for this motor is nuts!

If you gotta go with pistons, here they are.............................

Yep, $100 a hole! I've heard Sealed Power makes forged slugs for around $100 less but I can't confirm that.
BTW, factory rods are fine.

Well ide rather do it right the first time around so i never have problems with it agian. So with those pistons i can use the factory rods?Where are the forged slugs? So i guess ill have to get the machine shop to shave the crank before ordering that kit to see how much they shave off of it. Looks like im goin to have to work tons of overtime to have this motor in before spring. Yikes!.........Evintho- thats a pretty sick motor there is that the powr steerin bracket to the right?

Yep, that's the power steering bracket. I actually just dropped the motor in yesterday - finally! Now I have my work cut out for me, getting everything hooked up and running.

You can use the Wiseco pistons with factory rods. 'Slugs' is just a slang term for pistons. 99% of the time these blocks don't have to be bored, even with 200k+ miles on them. They're very tough! Have your machine shop measure the cylinder bores for runout. You'll probably be able to get by with just a re-ring kit. Between the pistons and machine work, that should save you $600-$700 or so!

Unless there are big gouges on the crank journals, the machine shop will probably turn the crank .010.

Wow thats a beautiful thing! Havent made it to the machine shop yet not enuff time in the day. The pistons i pulled out show some rough marks but i will have the machine shop check the cylinder walls, i would like to stay stock as much as possibile.
