Just go to your local auto parts store and get a felpro kit. I run 17psi and didn't have any problems.

Head Studs:
Of course they are worth the money. Not only do they aid is installation of the gasket, with the higher strength(depending on the manufacturer) They are also reusable as the factory "torque to yield" or whatever its called are not. Saves money in the long run if you wanna do future builds. I suggest any major lower end work be done at a machine shop. If you ever do the bottom end(crank, rods, pistons) I suggest arp(or equivalent) main stud and rod bolt kits. Well worth the money. Heres a link

http://www.arp-bolts.com/Catalog/Catalog.html

Scroll down to Head stud kits on left and click on the number 39. Look for Pinto 2300cc. Either part number to the right works. Please contact the distributor before ordering to ensure its what you want. Ensure its a kit that comes with the studs(for some reason they sent me just the nuts once lol). Be sure to mark your belt and gears before disassembling the timing set. Its a pain to time if you dont know what u r doing. Good Luck! Hope this helps!

If your budget allows it get one from Cometic. Mine was like $80 but it was worth it. Sucker will never blow. +1 on ARP studs. Of everything in that motor, the first thing i would put studs in would be the connecting rods.
