Default Why do i find oil in my intake?

I found why my car wouldnt start, it so happens that there was alot of oil inside the intake tubes from the turbo all the way to underneath my air filterbox. The MAF sensor got soaked in oil and therefore causing my car not to run. But now my major concern is where that oil came from? I hope i dont have to rebuild my turbo.

My guess would be bad seals on the turbo, did it smoke a lot when it was running? I'm no expert on these cars, but I remember that when my turbo went I had a bunch of oil in my intake and in the compressor housing of the turbo, along with a bunch of smoke out the exhaust.

Idk the pcv valve set up on the turbo 4's but check to see if that failed. Ive seen from a light mist to a quart in the intake filter/box from them going out.

The wonderful world of turbo cars. I like to clean my intake and air meter at least twice a year. I've never heard the pcv theory; would'nt hurt to try it though.

PCV failure. Happens to everyone.

Get a new MOTORCRAFT PCV valve, disassemble the intake tract from the airbox to the TB and clean it with Fuel Injector spray cleaner (CRC brand).
