Default Removable Hardtop for 1995 Mustangs??

Hey All,

Hoping someone can help on this. I found out in 1995 the Cobras had an option for a removable hardtop, for convertibles. But only that year and I believe someone said less than 500 were made. Anyone have any more info on this? Anyone know if there is a place I can get an aftermarket hardtop? Sounds like a good idea for winter months .... just thinkng out loud.

Thanks for any info/help you can provide

"Of the 1003 convertibles build in 1995, 499 of them had a removable hard top. This was the only year this option was offered making it one of the rarest Cobras and heavily sought after for that fact." (

I don't think you can get that hardtop from anyone but it was a good thought. I saw one for sale a few years ago, the car was going for $27000!!!!!!!!
