Default How "lasting" is the 03/04 Cobra Market?

I would like to purchase a cobra in a couple months for my performance car, and keeping the sixxer as a DD. How is the cobra market? Were they hard to find when you guys went out and looked? I am afraid that the market would be depleted and finding a decent semi babied cobra would be impossible.

Nah man I got mine, 2003 Cobra with 17k miles on it for $24k. It is practically brand new and runs amazing. They will last as long as you keep them well. Also they are quite easy to find if you have between 24k and 28k. But I got really lucky on my deal, usually I see 03 Cobras with like 30k miles going for 25k. Good luck! Get one and I PROMISE you won't regret it!

If I have to search the 50 states I will get one, im in the process of saving up a down payment. So a couple months hopefully. I was just afraid the market would be drained dry.

You can find some higher mileage terminators in the low 20's, and low mileage around 30k. There holding there value quite well.

I'll be honest it took me a while but I am insanely picky. I was looking for a vert in anyone of a few colors, extremely lows miles (5600 miles)and little to no mods. I eventually found it ad every morning when I get in I smile because I feel like it is still a brand new car...looks like it anyway. Just be prepared to wait for the right one and don't settle. They are out there and I know you feel like all the good ones will be gone by the time you are ready to buy but they won't be.

I had to travel almost 3 hours to get mine.

Had 18,000 miles, one owner, original tires that weren't bald... And I paid for it.

In some parts of the country, they are easy to find...

In my area, I could go find about 3 at a large big city dealership, but they sell for atleast $1,000 over book & the price is non-negotiable. Then like others say, they can be found cheap & easily in other areas.

I agree to what Dan04Cobra said, a lot of It depends on your area.

In my area there is a VERY high demand for them, and they're usually sold within a couple of weeks of the dealership getting them in. They aren't too hard to find, but finding a color you want, with low miles, at a decent price and "Semi babied" can be a challenge.

You can almost always tell.

From the front the have the round bezel fog light, the hood doesn't have a scoop but instead two inverted air "takes". From the back the spoiler is basically all one unit on the trunk lid with a long light strip brake light in the middle (01s have a larger single inverted). Of course the snakes on the sides are a dead give away.

Save up and find the right one. Best car I have ever owned!
