...I was just reading on CobraBob's web site that people have had good results mounting 315/35 Nitto DR's on the stock 17x9 Cobra wheel...But I guess only the Nitto's...

My question: Anyone they this?? ...any Pics?? ....thanks, Tim

Yes, the nitto 315 555r's fit... Its a fat fit, but still a fit... No other 315 will fit the stock 9 inch rim...

Noticeably better than the 275's, yes... But nittos are far from being the best drag radial, no matter what size, lol...

...well I did cut back-to-back 1.85 with the Nitto 275 DR's....would I expect any better with the 315's??

I'd say its possible to cut a high 1.7... Like I said, it is a noticeable difference...

the best 60' i have cut on the nittos in both my cars is 1.8 with 3.73 gears, but let me add a note the width of the tire isnt going to give your a huge amount more of traction in drag racing you should be more concerned with tire height as this will add a bigger foot print on the ground when you drop those air pressures. just watch the 10.5 tire classes run.

I was able to dump 4k and cut 1.7s with my 315 nittos and a ported cobra

when I dumped I actually even bogged out too..
