Default cams

I'm wondering what kind of gains I would be looking at if I put new cams in the cobra. I was looking on summit but I didnt see any with really big lift but im guessing because its dual overhead cams that it wouldnt need a whole lot of lift. What do you guys think?

I'd say anywhere from 40-60hp maybe, but don't hold me to it. I'd hope you'd get that gain out of a 4v and for how expensive they are, mainly depends on what stage you go with.

Yeah I know I just changed the cam in my competition car for crash-a-rama and it cost me 200 bucks (doing the work myself) the cost of the cams alone for my freaking cobra is 1,200. Its crazy.

In the Cobra it's typically not worth the money for cams... Although a cammed 4v sounds NASTY

You're better off putting it towards a blower..

your thinking of the fr500 package or the "high lift cams"

Yeah, cams are more of a "sound" mod for us, than a performance mod, lol...
