Best way to make 100 Octane??
So i want to unleash my 100 oct tune on my car, and ive heard of ppl diluting 93 and Cam 2 110 octane to make 100 or should i just fill up with 93 or 94 octane and use some torco?

(not trying to sound like a d!ck) The mods in your sig seem to be minimal, why would you want/ need to run that high of an octane? I could see if you were running N2O or FI and wanted to up the boost or had a detonation issue but I don't see how you could benefit from it that much. IMO the money spent on 100 octane can be put towards some go fast mods.

You can also do what alot of other people do and that is methanol injection. I have a kit installed in my car an it "supposedly" boosts octane rating to 120. I don't run any methanol I run just water as the alcohol increases your air to fuel ratio and I am already pretty rich up top. I know in my previous post I suggested Toluene but it can be a pain in the *** and expensive to maintain but a meth kit once purchased and installed is low maintenance and always on demand.

yes, it's paint thinner. Torco also works well, but I have to ask, why 100 octane?

Not sure if I would trust trying to "make" 100 oct fuel. There is no way to tell what oct you end up with and replacing pistons isnt cheap. If you can get 110 race fuel I dont think there would be that much difference. Having stock compression and no boost I dont think you will be seeing much of a gain.

+ 1,000!!
No need to run 100 oct for your setup. you will not gain alot of hp/tq sine you are not FI or running N2O. I personally wouldnt bother with it. Wait till you have the mods needed to really benifit from 100 oct, then run it.
Also, +1 to Vectorpat for saying you are not going to be 100% sure on the fuel mixture to achieve 100 octane. Might be a big mistake to try to learn to be a chemist on your car....
EDIT: on the flip side, you could always switch to E85 which i think is like 106 octane if it is available in your area.
