I agree with the stock issue. If you have the original parts, then put them back on if you want the big bucks for it. Even if you put original cobra parts that are not original to the car, it will be worth more. If you like it modded, then its worth your enjoyment. Outside of that its worth the best offer someone gives you for it. My rule of thumb...if you want a race car then chop up a GT, but if you want a limited edition Mustang leave it alone outside of mild performance upgrades (i.e. cold air intake, exhaust etc..) and keep original parts.

i wouldn't pay jack for a 96. hell, they aren't even really SVT affiliated. they were engineered and designed by team mustang, which builds your generic v6s and GTs.
03s were the first year that everything was 100% SVT.

Where did you come up with that? I never thought you where one of the misguided Cobra owners that thought there car was built by special SVT gods or something. All SVT products roll down the same assembly line as every other car they are a part of.
