hey guys, im currently putting a 2004 cobra engine into my 1992 fox. Just wondering if anyone on this forum, in this section has done this? i have a couple other forums i am using but having trouble getting answer to this question
What type of headers to use? or are you personally using that will fit a fox? any other htoughts would be great,

that is the sickest thing i have ever seen, goodlcuk with the build, and as for headers, you can get bbk L/Ts and you will just have to bend it around the steering box n what not, there was a set on ebay where a guy had my motor the 9-98 in his fox and he just had to bend the drivers side header to make sure it didnt rub when he turned the car, it was BBK L/Ts...hope that helps

THanks guys! ya the engine came with BBK LT's... One of them got F-ed up in the crash, so im gona try at call bbk and see if they will warrenty, or fix them for cheap. FIgure its worth a try since i already have them!
O and here are some pics of the engine!
now what all does doin this swap take, do you have to modify your engine compartment and get custom motor mounts, what about clearance next to the firewall and underneath for the tranny, im goin to start doin the same project this winter so curious as to what im getting into

Its a LOT of work man, You need the engine pretty much the WHOEL wiring harness, column, cluster, different k-member (made for modular conversions) fuel system, computer much more
I know the 03-04 cobra engein does not clear the front sway bar mounts so you have to take that out. Other then that i dont know all the little details. But once i start ill keep you all informed
o i have a shorty h for bbk long tubes if interested, it is a bbk offroad h pipe, perfectly fine, i just oculdnt use it on my cobra, i got my x cut...the shop didnt listen to me hahaha....ill sell it cheap, it i specifically for bbk long tubes

il let you know man! i got to find out if BBK will help me fix the headers or not casue the passenger side one has one of the primary tubes almost completely crushed
