I thought cobras were suppose to be "exclusive and limited" which in fact they are somewhat imbred with the Lincoln mark vIII. LOL. Oh well, I guess Ford has to cut corners somewhere. I know the rear differential in my 99 is the same one on the Mark VIII. So would I be rash to put a Mark VIII logo on my trunk lid next to "svt"? LOL

Lincoln usually gets the good parts first Kinda like Cadillac before Chevy,Lexus before Toyota. None of this is new in the Automotive industry. They more cars that share a part the cheaper it is

i wouldnt say they cut corners, they just tested out some parts on a vehicle that normally isnt abused to much first before they put it on the snake, like the first mod engine, put in a lincoln first before the stang. see how they perform in a real world environment.
